Power of A Golf Training Club

Some golfers idea of a golf training club is using their usual set of clubs to hit balls on the course the whole day.
This sort of thinking is borrowed from other sports where the most effective way of improving a persons game and level of fitness in it is to play the said game as much as possible.
Golf Training Club

Sadly this golf exercise technique of training using an ordinary golf club will just not work in golf. One of the reasons is the fact the golf swing hardly lasts a second and for this reason the muscles involved hardly get any exercise or conditioning when you play the game. They mostly get strained and injured if you do not exercise.
Golf Training Club
Many golfers tend to be sceptical about golf training equipment or gadgets aimed at improving a persons game. This is hardly surprising because many golfers will point you to their garages full of golf equipment that the salesperson at the shop promised would do miracles to their game.
Instead, in some cases they find that the golf aid actually made their game worse.
Golf Training Club
This is really why it helps to seek expert advice when purchasing any sort of golf aid equipment or gadget.
Golf Training Club
It also helps to know what particular weakness you have in your game.
Still the weighted golf club works wonders as a golf training club and I would usually have no hesitation in recommending it as one of the most effective golf training clubs.

Golf exercise program – with the exploding number of so-called golf fitness experts these days, it becomes very confusing. It’s easy for a golfer to be misled and end up in a program that will hardly have the desired objective of improving their game.
Golf Exercise

It is therefore very useful to know what constitutes a complete golf exercise program
A complete golf exercise program will tend to have the following attributes;
A) Golf specific stretch exercises Stretch exercises are a very important part of any genuine golf workout program. Stretches help improve the golf swing and correct many common mistakes and weaknesses in this area. They sometime help alleviate or even eliminate nagging back problems in some golfers. Many stretch exercises can be done in the comfort of the office or home.
Golf Exercise
B) Golf specific strength training Strength training is also a key area in any good golf workout program. Strength training usually has a dramatic effect on the quality of the game of any golfer. Dumbbells are usually used and the program for building strength for golf is usually very different from a body building program because the idea here is not to build muscles.
Golf Exercise
C) Should be able to focus on certain common player weaknesses A good golf exercise program should also be able to focus on certain common weaknesses amongst most amateur golfers with the aim of helping to improve and deal with those weaknesses. This at times may involve the use of certain golf aid equipment. However it should be very clear what particular aspects of the game are being developed by what golfing aids.
Golf Exercise
A complete golf exercise program should help any golfer improve their game dramatically and feel much more confident every time they set foot on the course.Golf Exercise

In this article, I will examine the aspects that make for a good golf swing training program.

Before you even set foot on the course for a golf swing training session, it is important that you prepare your body physically and especially the muscles in your body that you will need to use in your golf swing.

The amazing fact is that you do not need to be in the gym or away from your work station to carry out golf swing stretch training exercises. There are many stretch exercises that can be carried out in a spare moment in your office, throughout the day.
A good golf swing training exercise program will also involve weight training using dumbbells. The idea here is not to build bigger muscles but to strengthen your golf swing muscles. Golf Swing Training
This is one of the reasons why these exercise programs using dumbbells have been embraced by lady golfers and even very young junior teenage golfers.
Your golf swing exercise training program can move to the course where you can make full use of golf exercise products like the weighted club. Here you will be further enhancing and conditioning your golf muscles even as you practice the correct technique golf swing.

The Impact of Golf Specific Exercises

Golf specific exercises are part and parcel of the modern day golf game. Yet many people associate golf specific exercises with exercises used in other sports and by other athletes involved in more rigorous sporting activities.

For example many golfers look down on golf specific exercises that involve lifting weights. The fear that they will develop muscles which will tend to make them stiff and less flexible in their golf game. Everybody knows that flexibility is very important in golf.
Golf specific exercises
Strength in muscles has a remarkable effect on the quality of a golf game, especially when the muscles targeted are all golf muscles.
The other wrong image people often have about golf specific exercises is that there are as rigorous and as demanding as the sort of exercises one would find in a marine corps training program.
Golf specific exercises
This cannot be further from the truth, especially when some of the golf specific stretch exercises can be done from the comfort of the office or the home. Some can even be effectively carried out on your chair in the office, without you having to get up from your chair. Stretch exercises are some of the most important and critical golf specific exercises. It is important to warm up before this exercises and also after you game of golf.
Golf specific exercises
Again these warm up exercises need not be as difficult as you probably imagine. It can be simply a brisk walk from your car to the course.
Achieving a good enjoyable game of golf these days has become very difficult without the help of golf specific exercises.

Are You Too Old For Golf Fitness Workouts
September 22, 2011 by admin

Golf Fitness Workouts many a senior golfer would not resist the temptation to skip golf fitness workouts, using their age as an excuse. And at first glance age would seem to be a genuine excuse to avoid golf fitness workouts.
Golf Fitness

After all golf fitness workouts, as most people seem to believe, are supposed to be very strenuous programs where even dumb bells are used.
So how do you tell that you are too old for golf fitness workouts?
I regularly work with 80 year old golfers who comfortably go through golf fitness workouts, dumb bells and all. It is also probably appropriate to add here at this juncture that I also regularly work with youngsters barely in their teens.
Golf Fitness
Both groups of persons are able to dramatically improve on their game with the help of golf fitness workouts.
Golf fitness workouts are not any more rigorous and punishing than the game of golf is. Remember that the work outs are golf specific, meaning that they are specifically designed to help strengthen and condition the very muscles used in golf.
It is definitely not a boxing or body building fitness workout. Workouts for those sports reflect the rigorous and physically demanding aspects of those sports. In the very same way that golf fitness workouts reflect the requirements of the game of golf.
Golf Fitness
The dumbbells are usually used for strength training because this is the most efficient equipment anywhere for building strength quickly hence their inclusion in the best golf fitness workout routines.
The idea is never to lift heavy weights over long periods of time. Rather the objective to condition and strengthen golf muscles using lighter weights lifted over very short periods of time.
If you are not too old or too young for golf, golf fitness workouts are for you.

Golf Injury Prevention
September 22, 2011 by admin
Golf injury is one of the most common issues with all amateur golfers. But having adequate strength and flexibility of muscles and joints and participating in effective training technique, can also prevent a golf injury.

Well-conditioned limbs and joints that are under control when the stresses of the swing are encountered will greatly reduce risk of a golf injury.
If your body motion is out of control when you execute the swing, the muscles and tendons have little room for error. The result is likely a tear or strained tendon or ligament keeping you off the course indefinitely.
Golf injury
And when looking at the areas of a golf injury, the above mentioned areas are at the top of the list. Go figure!
Golf injury
Keep in mind that with an above average level of strength and flexibility and swing technique, you will not only reduce the occurrence of a golf injury, but also enhance the quality of your game.
Many golfers think they are generally healthy and able to play a round of golf without a golf injury however, I have heard and read dozens of times where a golfer gets injured on the course swinging a golf club. Has that happened to you or a golfing buddy?
Golf injury
Somewhere I read a statistic from 10 years ago. There was over 39,000 golf injuries treated in emergency rooms back in 1995! Wow! That is unbelievable! How about all the injuries that were not reported or that were treated by the golfer himself? Or how about the chronic golf injuries the golfer lives with just to be able to play golf?
These are numbers from 10 years ago! I wonder what they are now? I am here to tell you golf is a physical sport and without the proper training, you will be added to that number mentioned above.
I dont think its a tough sell to say that participating in a golf strength and flexibility program will help you avoid a golf injury.
